Hello and welcome to CookingWells.com—your cozy corner of the internet for wholesome, fuss‑free recipes that actually work in real home kitchens!

Our Story

Hi, I’m Mia Miller—food lover, self‑taught cook, and Pacific Northwest native. I launched CookingWells in 2019 from my tiny apartment kitchen in Hillsboro, Oregon. What started as a weekend hobby documenting family favorites quickly blossomed into a thriving community of home cooks who believe good food doesn’t have to be complicated—or expensive.

Growing up, I spent Sundays in my grandmother’s kitchen learning how to turn garden veggies into comforting meals. Her motto was simple: “Cook well, live well.” CookingWells is my way of passing that legacy forward, one recipe and one story at a time.

  • Step‑by‑Step Photos & Videos – No more guessing what “until creamy” looks like. Clear visuals guide you every step of the way.

  • Ingredient Swaps & Dietary Notes – Whether you’re gluten‑free, vegan, or just cooking with what’s on hand, we’ve got substitution tips.
