to tastefresh apple slices and additional cinnamon for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, diced apples, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
If you're using nuts and dried fruit, fold them into the mixture until combined.
Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and set in the middle.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares or rectangles.
Serve warm, topped with fresh apple slices, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a drizzle of additional maple syrup if desired.
Notes
Serve warm with fresh apple slices and a drizzle of maple syrup for extra flavor.
