Start by washing the blueberries thoroughly if using fresh ones. If using frozen, you can skip this step.
In a blender, combine the blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, almond milk, and lemon zest.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add some ice cubes and blend again until desired consistency is achieved.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness with more honey if needed. Blend again to mix.
Once blended to your liking, pour the smoothie into glasses.
Optionally, garnish with a few whole blueberries and a sprinkle of lemon zest on top.
