Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and oregano.
Brown the Chicken: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Mushrooms: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and let it melt. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden and tender. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the mushroom and garlic mixture over the top. Drizzle with lemon juice and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm with a side of your choice, such as rice or steamed vegetables.
