In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags and grated ginger. Let steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea.
After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the honey or sugar until fully dissolved.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Once cooled, strain the tea into a pitcher and add the sliced peaches.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
Garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves for an added touch.
