1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (for glaze)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

      Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

        Add Egg and Flavors: Beat in the egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
