In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and rice vinegar to create the glaze. Set aside a small portion for drizzling later.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet.
Cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and reduce the heat to medium. Pour the honey garlic glaze over the salmon.
Cook for another 4-5 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fillets occasionally, until the salmon is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
Remove from heat and let rest for a minute. Drizzle the reserved glaze over the top before serving.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.
