In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the thickened sauce over each fillet.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
