Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let it brown.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down (if applicable). Brush each fillet generously with the lemon garlic butter mixture. Reserve a small amount of the mixture for drizzling later.

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the fillets.

Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle the reserved lemon garlic butter over the fillets. Let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon slices on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
