Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the sprouts are evenly coated.
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. If using, sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top for extra texture.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through to ensure even cooking. The Brussels sprouts should be golden brown and crispy on the edges.
Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Add walnuts for extra crunch if desired.
