Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet, spreading them out in a single layer.
Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
Once cooked, remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the shrimp with chopped fresh cilantro.
Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra zing.
