Ingredients
4
fillets
salmon (skinless)
3
tablespoons
Dijon mustard
2
tablespoons
honey
2
tablespoons
olive oil
2
cloves
garlic, minced
1
teaspoon
fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried thyme)
to taste
salt and pepper
as needed
lemon wedges for serving
as needed
fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
Generously brush the honey mustard mixture over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
For an extra touch, you can broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes for a caramelized crust, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a minute.
Serve the salmon warm, garnished with fresh parsley, and squeeze lemon juice over the top.
Notes
For a caramelized crust, broil for the last 2 minutes.
