Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Stir in the rinsed chickpeas and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing them to brown slightly.
Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, dried oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well to ensure the chickpeas are coated in the flavorful mixture.
Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through and the chickpeas are slightly crispy.
Remove from heat and, if desired, sprinkle the crumbled feta on top.
Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.
